Susie has produced 4 dandy horse colts for me as of 2006 and

one pretty blood bay, Ten Sleep Foxy Bar, filly in 2007.

In 2009 she had a sorrel overo medicine hat horse colt!

She has a beautiful solid bay AQHA Appendix filly

in the 2011 colts coral, thick boned, very stylish!

Susie is small, but as you can see, very well balanced.

She is a half sister to King Quick KC pictured above. 

She produces friendly, cowy, nice looking

colts that generally out grow their dam and

tend to be a good average 15 hands or better.

I usually crossed her on Ten Sleep Foxy Bar,

so her colts were all AQHA Appendix registered,

but you wouldn't know it to look at them. 

They would be barely 1/8th Thoroughbred. 

They look just like a typical running bred quarter horse.

She tends to throw sorrels, but she has produced two bay foals.

If you need a good rope prospect, Susie's colts are the right type. 

They should also make nice barrel horses. 

Plenty of speed and athletic ability in her colts!

Poca has produced 5 registered foals and one un-registerable filly. 

Her first filly could not be registered because of AQHA and their DNA rules when they were first applied.  The sire to that filly was deceased and/or sold and DNA was not done on him, making her first foal sadly unable to have her registration completed.  

All foals out of Poca after that year are registered AQHA or APHA foals. 

In 2007 she produced a Ten Sleep Foxy Bar filly. 

For 2006 she produced a pretty blue roan (On A Blue Pine) 06 AQHA blue roan stallion,

sired by Smoko Cash (black) and

I bred her back to Smoko Cash for a 2008 foal that is now one of my broodmares.

Poca produces sweet foals with pretty heads and smart, willing attitudes. 

They are well balanced, good minded colts that, to me,

epitomize the perfect AQHA or APHA ranch or rodeo horse.

She's built like a tank and raises sturdy, big boned, well muscled colts!

Dolly is a daughter of my old lead mare, Foxy Lady,

sired by Spooky Rip, adding cow and speed all in one cute little package! 

Dolly is an easy going, gentle, ready to please mare that has produced colts with the

same disposition and plenty of eye appeal and plenty of run in them. 

Her 2005 buckskin gelding was trained and broke to ride by

my 11 year old neice this summer 2006!!!  ;-)

Dolly is bred to Buckskin Bo for 2015 foal.

Sugar is one beautiful mare! 

She is out of Bold Poca Leah Bar, a gray daughter of Spooky Rip!

Her maternal granddame, Southern Dell Fox is pictured on my website

on the Reference Mares page. 

Sugar's sire, Dude Jones, was in cutting competitions in Utah. 

Very flashy stallion with a sweet disposition.  Sugar's dam,

Bold Poca Leah Bar, also had a kind, easy going disposition. 

Sugar has been a hard breeder and hard to stay pregnant. 

I found out she's regularly trying to carry twins, thus causing her to abort them,

as well as possibly only cycling every other month!

She did produce the 2007 grade quarter horse buckskin filly pictured with her above

as well as a beautiful grade palomino gelding, named Carbon Copy in 2009.

Then a gorgeous sorrel 2012 AQHA filly, Flaming Dell, sired by Top Cause Dream.

Spooks Fancy Dell has produced 2 beautiful solid paint fillies

and one precious bay overo gelding (Class N Frost) sired by Classy Jack Frost.

Then in 2009 she produced a sweet bay roan gelding sired by Casino Blu Duck,

a Lowry Star son.  Unfortunately I lost the colt spring 2011 to colic.

She was bred to Zanes Blazing Cash for a 2011 foal!

He is an AQHA 2000 bay stallion, standing at Larry King's Ranch in Ten Sleep, WY.

She produced what I thought was going to be an AQHA foal,

Little Yella Fella - a grade palomino gelding in 2013, sired by

JP INVEST IN GOLD (aka JP DNA Shorty).  See my home page and stallions.

*She was purposefully bred to my grade stallion,

Buckskin Bo for a 2015 grade foal.

My pictures don't even come close to doing her true beauty any justice

but for now they will just have to do!

She is registered as an AQHA Appendix horse,

but looks like a typical bull dog quarter horse

and epitomizes the type of gorgeous fillies that Spooky Rip produces. 

Square bodied, straight legs, beautiful head, wide front end and lots of muscle.

This filly has a stiffle/hip injury from her time spent on

our mountain pastures her first summer 2006.

The injury in layman's terms is called a 'dropped hip'.  

It hasn't seemed to bother her much and

she is growing out to be another fine looking

Southern Dell Fox and Spooky Rip daughter. 

She is a sweet filly with a big hip and powerful front end. 

Very powerful!  She can pick up speed in a hurry! 

Her disposition is priceless!  I am sure she'll pass it on to her babies!

**She is bred for a 2015 foal to be sired by grade palomino stallion,

JP INVEST IN GOLD (aka JP DNA Shorty).

The resulting foal will be a grade quarter horse foal.

She's probably not a speed horse producer, but could make some nice roping prospects.
